Whether you’re someone who enjoys an intense work out, or has never played a sport: Get in shape, make new friends, learn something new! No experience necessary! You will fall in love with rugby at any age.
You’ll find an entire family of passionate and strong womxn to support you on & off the pitch. Open to all women and nonconforming people age 18+ in Goleta, Santa Barbara, and all neighboring cities.
Rugby is an exponentially growing sport here in the U.S. With the recent USA Sevens 2016 Olympic Women’s Rugby Team debut, and the 92-year comeback of Men’s Olympic Rugby in the Olympics, the interest and level of play is constantly being elevated!
Upcoming Events
Pre-Season and In Season Practice: Come to Elings Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm! No fee for parking!
Season Matches: Come watch the Mermaids play against other women's teams from Southern California! Home games will take place at Elings Park at 11am. Admission is free, and parking is $6. Dogs must be registered with Elings Park to enter.
